Warm Welcome Winter Activities at Blackburn Central Library
This winter, Blackburn Central Library is proud to be a Warm Welcome space, providing a free, warm, and welcoming environment for anyone who would like to spend time in the library.
Whether you’re looking for company, a quiet place to relax, help with using technology, or an opportunity to take part in community activities, our doors are open to everyone.
Throughout the week, visitors can enjoy a variety of free activities, including games, quizzes, mindfulness sessions, digital support, reminiscence activities, Knit and Natter, and more. Jigsaw tables are also available for anyone who would like to drop in and take part.
Free tea and coffee will be available, offering a chance to relax, meet new people, and enjoy a warm drink in a friendly community setting.
There’s no need to book. Simply come along and join us for as little or as long as you’d like.
