Blackburn with Darwen is proud to be one of the first of three library services in the UK selected to become part of the Green Library Hubs programme, a groundbreaking, community-led climate action project made possible through £1.2 million in funding from The National Lottery Community Fund’s Climate Action Fund – Our Shared Future.

The Digital Inclusion Network – the Council and local partners – want to find out about what support people in Blackburn with Darwen would like with their digital skills - to get online and be more confident using the internet.

We are delighted to announce that the new short film Dorothy Whipple: Beyond the Pages, commissioned as part of our recent Arts Council England funded 'Dorothy Who?' project is now available to view via the Cotton Town website
